Margaret O’Meara, CFP®, AIFA™ is president and founder of O’Meara Financial Group. Since 1993, Margaret O’Meara has partnered with hundreds of companies and individuals to work toward wise financial strategies and make smart decisions about their finances.

Prior to starting her firm in 2001, Margaret worked as a Regional Vice President for PaineWebber (UBS) and was a Vice President at Fidelity Investments. Ms. O’Meara is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® and has earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary Auditor™ designation awarded by the Center for Fiduciary Studies. She has lectured on financial topics at Fordham University and the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education, for numerous organizations and businesses in New Jersey and New York, and has held widely attended investment classes. Margaret was named to NJBIZ’s prestigious list of 40 Under 40. She is a contributor to the Biz Brain column published in the Star Ledger, and has had articles published by the Two River Times and quoted on MSNMoney.com. In addition, she appeared on the Lasting Lifestyles TV show sponsored by Brookdale College.

Ms. O’Meara holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Fordham University and Masters in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance, from Fordham University Business School in New York City.

Margaret sits on the board of the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore.  She lives in Rumson, NJ with her two sons and husband Ryan.  She enjoys reading, golf, tennis and spending time with her family.
